aluminium 4X frame design

The Pure 4X Al frame has been designed to reduce power loss and improve acceleration and handling. These design features are explained below:

1. The frame has two head tube gussets this helps to strengthen the front end of the bike to take larger impacts and also help to stiffen up the front end of the bike this will reduce the loss of power through out the frame and help to power the frame out of the gate or the corners.

2. The hydro formed rear end of the frame allows us to make the frame super stiff with out having to add lots of extra weight. This allows for a light back end that closely hugs the rear wheel, this in turn gives the frame a very responsive feel both in the corners in the transitions of jumps and mostly out of the gate! With the stiffness in the back end the power that you put through the frame is transferred directly to the wheel and to the track.

3. The gentle roll in the hydro formed top tube allows us to create large surface contact weld area at the various tube contact points. This gives the frame again added strength and help reduce power wastage which is only enhanced buy the hydro forming of the top tube.
